Professional Background
Dr. Aamna Khalid, has earned over 15 executive certifications from Harvard, Stanford, and LUMS. Her academic credentials include a PhD (USA), an MSc (UK), and an MA (Pakistan) in diverse areas such as Education, Leadership, Management, and English Language Teaching.
Her professional journey began as a Teacher Trainer in 1999 and since then she has worked extensively with educators at all levels, from primary schools to higher education. She has designed resources for solving teaching-learning challenges, developed curricula for specific purposes, and evaluated & implemented learning & training programs.
In early 2000’s she started teaching English Language to university students and set up the English Language Programs at the newly founded Beaconhouse National University in Pakistan. Since then, she has taught communication, academic writing, and critical thinking at numerous universities in the country designing customized courses for undergraduate as well as graduate programs.
At present she is a faculty member at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Pakistan and has been associated with the university since 2003. She has been teaching industry-oriented courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and MPhil programs, focusing on professional & leadership communication, influence & interpersonal skills, critical and analytical thinking, academic writing, and personal development.
Over the years at LUMS she has developed intensive English for Specific (ESL) communication courses for remedial programs, facilitated career enhancement skills workshops for students, conducted SAT trainers training workshops, run a one-of-its-kind English Language Immersion Program for STEM students, and trained numerous executives in professional communication and public speaking skills.

Since 2005, Dr. Khalid has collaborated with leading organizations including UNDP, World Bank, British Council, Civil Services Academy Pakistan, National Incubation Centers, Packages, EO Lahore, LUMS REDC & CES, Beaconhouse National University, Kinnaird College, and many more leading large-scale projects in capacity building, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
